I'm Back...with 2 Community Events!

A few days ago, someone asked me if I was keeping busy with my CH job because she had not seen as many postings about it online. Ha!

I assured her that yes, I am still busy, in fact too busy out doing events leaving no time to blog about them. Not to mention, I have had my boys home with me all summer and we have traveled alot, making it extra difficult to find the time to report CH happenings here.

However, now that my boys are back in school full-time and I am getting back into a routine, I am going to do my best to try to catch up on my blogging!

That being said, I never did tell you about the awesome CH Health Fair that Takoma and Laughlin co-hosted @ the YMCA this past spring. 10 of my awesome coaches set-up 8 different booths, one for each CH letter principle and we had over 70 people attend, which was more than double what they have had at these health fairs in the past!

Each booth was informative and interactive, teaching people how Choice, Rest, Environment, Activity, Trust, Interpersonal Relationships, Outlook and Nutrition (which make up the CREATION acronym) affect our health and well-being. We also gave out door prizes and free blood pressures.

A few weeks ago, we set-up a booth at the the 2nd Annual Family Fun Day for the 2nd year in a row.

It is one of my favorite events to work. The people are so friendly and my own family has such a blast playing games and enjoying the food, Creamy Cup ice cream, Funville inflatables, etc. And the best part...it's all free!

As usual, we passed out a ton of free CH materials to hundreds of attendees, including coloring books/crayons, books, bookmarks, dvds and brochures.

Let us know how we can be apart of your next event!
